The aim of ReproIRE is to establish a collaborative network of leading clinicians and scientists in the field of reproductive biology within Ireland. Incorporating biomolecular research into a clinical setting has the potential to identify new and more effective diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for fertility management.

Dr. Lynne O'Shea, UCD School of Medicine, was awarded the 2016 Merck Serono Grant for Fertility Innovation, at ESHRE 2016 in Helsinki, Finland.

The project entitled "Using a biomarker of oocyte quality to improve embryo selection during assisted reproduction".
